Bars and restaurants in Hutchinson are planning to cash in on the U.S. Women's golf tournament this weekend.

Owners of several of the bars and restaurants say they will have extended hours this week. Practice rounds for the open start today, with the tournament beginning Thursday.

More than 100,000 people are expected in Hutchinson for the tournament.

The city also will offer HutchFest, which will fill the city with music, dance, games and Fourth of July fireworks through Wednesday.

Doug Fisher, owner of Tiffany House restaurant, says he and his employees are not planning on having a Fourth of July holiday this year. He's extending the restaurant's hours to serve breakfast and later into the evening.

Many other bar and restaurant owners say they simply will stay open until the crowds leave.
