A variety of illegal drugs is seized in three separate traffic stops on interstate highways in Kansas.

On Sunday, a trooper stopped a vehicle on I-135 nine miles south of McPherson for a window tint violation and smelled marijuana. Five pounds of pot and 97 Ecstasy tablets were found. Two Wichita men were arrested.

A trooper stopped a vehicle on I-70 in Lincoln County Saturday for a traffic violation, but became suspicious over inconsistencies in the driver's story. Ten pounds of marijuana was found in the trunk and a St. Davis, Calif., man was arrested.

One man is in custody after a trooper found 2.5 pounds of meth inside the gas tank of a car on I-70 in Ellsworth County Friday. The officer found that the fuel system had been altered and that $50,000 worth of meth was suspended in the tank.

A 19-year-old Phoenix man was arrested.
