A grand jury will be called to investigate the death of the Kansas man who died following a traffic stop near Kimball.

Authorities say a Kimball police officer stopped 25-year Keith Moyer of Colby, Kan., on March 13 and tried to arrest him on a warrant out of Cheyenne County. But, Moyer shot himself with a handgun and died the next morning.

A grand jury will review the incident, as required by state law when a suspect dies in police custody or while being apprehended.
