United Way Warns Of Possible Door-To-Door Fundraising Scam
It has been reported to United Way of the Plains that an individual was going door-to-door asking for cash donations for United Way even though United Way of the Plains does not authorize collecting money door-to-door.

It has been reported to United Way of the Plains that an individual was going door-to-door asking for cash donations for United Way even though United Way of the Plains does not authorize collecting money door-to-door.

In this instance, the individual was using a brochure that included United Way’s 2-1-1 phone number. If individuals encounter such activity, please contact United Way at 267-1321.

Anyone wishing to donate directly to United Way can mail checks or hand-deliver cash to United Way of the Plains, 245 N. Water, Wichita, KS 67202 or donate online at www.unitedwayplains.org.
