Sumner County emergency crews responded to an early morning car crash five miles south of Belle Plaine at 40th Avenue and Oliver Road. It happened around 4:30 Saturday morning.
Emergency crews at the scene reported four victims. One of the victims was airlifted to a Wichita hospital in critical condition. The other three are believed to have serious injuries and were taken by ambulance to area hospitals.
As of Monday, two of the victims are in critical condition, one is in fair condition and one is in good condition.
The Sumner County Sheriff's Office issued an accident press release stating that the vehicle was traveling northbound in the 300 block of North Oliver when it crossed the center line. The vehicle then entered the west ditch and "vaulted" over 40th Avenue, flipping two times. Four occupants were ejected from the car.
