Two more men have been taken into custody in connection to the death of a Wichita man, whose body was found last week.
The body of 34-year-old Shawn M. Lindsey of Wichita was found in some brush near K-96 and Hillside last Wednesday. Two utility workers made the discovery.
A 28-year-old was one of two men most recently taken into custody, arrested late Sunday night in the 500 block of South Walnut. He was booked into the Sedgwick County jail on suspicion of first-degree murder early Sunday morning. Details were not available on the other.
On Friday, two other men, ages 37 and 31, were also arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder, according to jail records. They were arrested in the 100 block of South Vine Street.
All four men are being held at the Sedgwick County Jail.
Police have never confirmed Lindsey's death as a homicide, only referring to it as a "suspicious death."
His girlfriend had last seen him at a west Wichita business on Friday, January 11 and reported him missing two days later.
Police are expected to release additional information on Tuesday morning.
