I have taught and personally know all three of these young men. Yes, they made a mistake. But haven't most of us? Nobody deserves to be written off because of stupid decisions. I just praise God that Derick and Joey are okay, and that it looks like Billy will be okay too. Maybe this experience will teach them hard life lessons in a way that nothing or nobody else could do. It could be a major positve turning point in all their lives. Wichita, you would have fit in perfectly with Adolf Hitler... PERFECTION just isn't humanly possible, even for you. So shut your mouth and quit saying evil things about three kids who have learned a hard lesson. How dare you even write such a comment on Feb. 10th, when at that point, we didn't even know if Billy would survive. Hang in there Billy, and Joey & Derick too. A lot of us out here love you three...and want you to make some changes in your lives for the better. We're here to help you.

I am without words to say to anonymous in wichita. You dont even know any of these boys. I know Joey and he is a great kid. I am sure the other two involved are also. Stupidity of you writing your comment is just asking for carma to get you back. These boys made a mistake that could have happened to anyone. Whether alcohol is involved or not, its a mistake. So before passing judgement in the future, remember that carma will get you. Your thoughts and prayers should be with the family of these boys and for William McReynolds to make a great recovery. I hope that you never have to be apart of an accident because you will be hurt if someone said what you did about these boys. It not only affects them but their families too. You need to apologize and a hope that you will be forgiven.

I am proud of my son. I am not proud of what he did. My son is a good kid as are the other two involved in this mistake. No parent is proud of their child when they make a critical mistake like this. Get off your throne miss anonymous from Wichita. What kind of species are you that you have the nerve to say these kids should not have children of their own? The survival of your species is in danger. These are human beings, apparently you are not. Afraid for your species? That makes no sense to us that have a broader view of this situation. If alcohol was involved then an adult had to buy it for them. They were all three underage. Yes, what they did was stupid and they are paying for it now but focus "species" person. What stupid adult species bought it for them in the first place. Proud mother of Derick Ballinger.

To all the people sitting on their thrones you are complete idiots. Either you have no childern, children too young to drive or God saw fit to not let you have childern because of your stupidity. These are good boys. As for the comment on being proud parents and it is better for YOUR species for survival if they do not procreate. What kind of a species are you? Sounds like a stupid one. Are you a cockroach that you are afraid might get stepped on? Perhaps YOUR species needs to return to your planet. People make mistakes as did these boys. They did wrong but YOUR species should think before speaking.

We are proud of are children. You will not here them judge you. Maybe those that are so judgemental of others need not procreate. For once the ingornance of judgeing others by those that think they are perfect stops the world will be a better place. If you really are perfect and without sin or faults then I apoligize. I highly doubt that is the case here though. Your parents must be so proud of you that you may pass judgement so easily. I understand why you wish to remain anonymous. Loren Harris

your comment (anonymous) shows such compassion. bet you never made any mistakes or did anything stupid when you were young. glad you were so perfect. nice way to talk about some guys that might not live through this

Their parents must be so proud. Perhaps it's better for the survival of our species if these guys don't procreate.
