3.9 temblor rattles parts of Northern Oklahoma

TONKAWA, Okla. -- Parts of north-central Oklahoma were rattled by a minor earthquake Friday afternoon.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the magnitude 3.9 shaker was recorded at 1:52 p.m. and was centered roughly 17 miles west-southwest of Tonkawa, which is about 80 miles south of Wichita.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage. Two people near the Ark City and Winfield areas reported feeling the quake.
