A teenager is dead after an accident involving his pickup and a semi truck. The accident happened just after 6:15 Monday night at the intersection of US-75 and K-20 in Brown County.

The pickup was stopped at a stop sign on 110th Road at US-75. The semi was traveling northbound on US-75. The pickup left the stop sign and was struck broadside by the semi. The pickup overturned across U75 and the driver was ejected onto the east shoulder. The semi overturned and landed on its side across both lanes of US-75.

The driver of the vehicle has been identified as 16-year-old Corey Davis of Netawaka. Police reports indicate he was not wearing his seatbelt and that his airbag deployed.

Another accident occurred minutes later involving three semi trucks. The first semi was traveling northbound on US-75 when it came upon the pickup versus semi accident. That semi struck another, which was pushed into a third semi parked on the shoulder of the west side of the highway facing southbound.
