Regents Tuition
The Kansas Board of Regents approved higher tuition today for the six state universities, effective this fall.
The new schedule includes an increase of 25 percent for many students at the University of Kansas.
Tuition will increase for in-state students from a low of $55.50, or six percent, at Fort Hays State to a high of $294 at KU.
Per-semester rates range from $926 at Fort Hays to $1460 at KU.
For out-of-state students, the increases will range from $99.75, or two percent, at Wichita State to $379, or 11.5 percent, at Pittsburg State.
The money will be used to increase faculty salaries, upgrade technology or make other improvements.
