Investigators want to know if a medical problem led to a deadly accident in Wichita. The accident happened during the morning rush hour, near the I-235 and I-135 interchange in North Wichita.
The Highway Patrol says a car driven by 57-year-old David Bouffard of Wichita left the southbound lanes of I-235, went through the median, and ran head-on into a sports utility vehicle. Bouffard died a short time later at a Wichita hospital. The driver of the SUV is listed in fair condition tonight.
