Rollover Accident Kills Teen in Rooks County

The accident occurred just after 2 p.m. Sunday on County Road Y.
The Kansas Highway Patrol crash log indicates the 2004 Ford Ranger entered into a broadside skid and the driver lost control, causing the truck to roll three or four times.
All three occupants of the vehicle were ejected.
One of the passengers, 15-year-old Trenton Hoft of Phillipsburg was killed.
The driver, 16-year-old Joshua Crain of Phillipsburg and a second passenger, 16-year-old Jillie Ganoung of Plainville were injured.
None of the occupants were wearing seat belts.
