Lady the dog loves to run and play catch, but she doesn’t care for loud noises. "She just sat in the front door, and just listened. She wasn't outside with us. It's just too loud," said Lady's owner Dawn Myers.
Wichita Veterinarians see a spike in sales of Acepromazine, a sedative prescribed for pets. "It just kind of sedates the dog, makes them more carefree, They just kind of sit there and could care less," said Dr. Ron Helten.
If you don't want to give your pet a sedative, Dr. Helten says your companionship could be the best remedy.
