After 20 years, the president of the Kansas Food Bank Warehouse wants a break. Virginia White handed in her resignation this morning, but she's not leaving entirely.

White turned in her letter, asking to go from full time to part time status. White has directed the operations at the Foodbank since it opened back in 1983. The Board of Directors called a special meeting today to approve her new part time position.

White wants to make the change for personal reasons. "My mother lives in Kentucky, she's 86 years old, and I need to spend more time with her," said White.
