Maize Schools Announces Superintendent Finalists
The Maize USD 266 Board of Education has announced that they have selected three candidates to interview for their superintendent vacancy.

The Maize USD 266 Board of Education has announced that they have selected three candidates to interview for their superintendent vacancy.
The candidates selected for interviews are:
• Douglas Powers, Superintendent, Marysville USD 364, Marysville, Kansas
• Dr. Richard Doll, Superintendent, Louisburg USD 416, Louisburg, Kansas
• Dr. Tina Kerr, Superintendent, Bangor Township, Bay City, Michigan
Interviews are scheduled to be conducted on January 13-15 in the same order as listed above. The board intends to make their selection by no later than January 26 with the new superintendent assuming duties beginning July 1, 2009.
Maize USD 266 retained the services of McPherson & Jacobson L.L.C. to assist in conducting their search. The consultants of McPherson & Jacobson L.L.C. reviewed, screened, and conducted extensive background checks on 21 applicants.
On Monday, January 5, 2009, the consultants presented the applicants to the board of education and provided them detailed background information on each applicant. The board selected the above named candidates as those who most closely match the selection criteria
established by the board and stakeholders.
Consultants from McPherson & Jacobson will continue working with the Maize Board of Education and the new superintendent during the next school year.
