i will just take a different way i am not at work clock in and out to eat or take a driving break this is BS if you want to raise the fees raise them that would be BS also though we live in one greedy state you work to pay them to live here.

What happens if you have a flat tire...or you eat lunch or have sex at the break spots...do you get charged again for excessive time on the turnpike?

how much is it going to cost to put in equipment to time stamp tickets on the turnpike? will the "increased revenues" pay for that? or will some polititions company make money selling them to the turnpike?

each of the businesses will have a ticket validation that you must clock in and out when you stop. anyone found stopped on the roadway will be ticketed for illegal parking $35 plus 30 minutes automatically deducted from their toll ticket. :}}}}}}

So I have to pay the same driving 70MPH and not stopping as the person driving 90MPH that stops for lunch for 20-30 minutes. It sounds like somebody is getting a little greedy.

i tell you what ..just put up several of those speed monitors were it snaps a picture of yer car and u in it driving over the speed limit and also the back of yer car for proof of license plate.since kansas dosent have car plates in front.and then issue you a ticket through the mail ..u think twice when you see yer speed on those speed monitors going 100 miles an hr

The Turnpike Authority already is receiving sufficient revenue to maintain the roadway at a profit, so there is not a need to further squeeze drivers!

The econmy sucks right now and the money grubbing politicians want more money? Let me ask this question..... Has there every been a lay off in government? I say we lay off all these worthless 6 figure politicians and reduce the salaries of the remaining pigs.

Rates for driving fast is just plan stupid as you can drive fast, stop for lunch or gas, and get charged the same as slower drivers. Speed should have nothing to do with rates.

Hey, this is great! I leave home early, stop for breakfast on the 'pike rather than the restaraunt near home, go the same speed I normally do and still save money because with a 20-25 minutes breeak my average speed is below the limit. Now I get to Topeka at the same time but pay less. NOT! I totally agree with Rep. Hayzlett

I'm against this, but since I travel the turnpike several times a month, it would be nice to have all the Oklahoma and Texas speeders pay more.

Wake up Americans the man is trying to stick it to us again. Just who gets the revenue from this toll hike(the people in offices that got nothing to do) salaries are'nt getting them by or what.Kansans and all Americans need to start paying attention before its to late. look up the blinderberg group an the tri latteral trade commision an then really think

The state could get plenty of money if they just started writing tickets to those people who drive like they think they're in the early days when there was no speed limit on the turnpike. I say take the speed limit off and let the idiots go as fast as they can. They do anyway.
