Wichita police are trying to find two alleged thieves who may have shot a south Wichita man four times.
The shooting happened at Seneca and MacArthur just before 1 a.m. Friday. It all began over a missing license plate.
Vanessa Castillo claims two men were tampering with her father-in-law's car. She says her husband, 22-year-old Danny Castro told her, the tags were missing and he went to track the men down. Less than ten minutes later Danny was shot four times.
Vanessa says, "He came back and I guess they got into a confrontation when they shot him."
Vanessa says Danny wasn't armed, and he just wanted the license plate back, or to get a more concrete description of the men she saw.
