At the new Hartman Arena in park City the seats aren't even in yet and they're already looking to fill them.

The grand opening is set for the first week of April, but it already seems success is appearing on the horizon.

One big name act is already signed to play. Yanni is scheduled to take to the stage on June 10th.

"That's quite a coup for us," said Arena Manager John Nath.

Nath says they've also been getting a lot of interest from several other concert promoters.
Deals are well in the works even though he can't name names quite yet.

But he can say in the arena's first year he expects 85 events including seven Wichita Wild football games, a monster truck rally, indoor arena cross and a rodeo.

Nath says one of the reasons there's already so much interest in the arena is it's somewhat smaller size of 6,500 seats.

"There's been a seismic shift in our industry where things are contracting. We are the right size to fit the majority of events out there," said Nath.

Just in case you're wondering, Yanni tickets are set to go on sale in February.
