Three crashes in three hours kept Highway Patrol troopers busy in Western Kansas this morning.

The first accident happened around 7:00 on I-70 in Sherman County. Troopers said a pickup, pulling a trailer was westbound on the highway when the driver lost control. The truck went into the median and struck a guardrail. 10-year-old Ethan Clemons of Goodland was taken to a Goodland hospital for treatment.

Less than two hours later, troopers responded to another crash on I-70 in Thomas County. A westbound truck went into the ditch, rolled, and landed on its top. Four people from Colorado escaped serious injury.

K-96 in Greeley County was the site of the third accident. Troopers said a pickup truck turned in front of a Semi causing the accident. The semi overturned, blocking the highway for some time. Neither driver was seriously hurt.
