never wished things upon others, only stated that is way the economy is now. aircraft industry is slowly going down. the ceo's and such have made the statement that they have hit the peak in orders from the airlines. plus with cessna laying off around a 1000 people or so, it will be hard to find a job

Happy - Be careful - all the evil things you wish upon others might just come back to you.

no, just happy to know that boeing and spirit are doing the right things by outsourcing work that will be quality work and a lot cheaper. the only people who are really upset are the people who know that they will probably lose their job because the aircraft industry is laying off. sorry about your luck, but that is life.

Why don't all of you get along, this is the Christmas season. We all are going through hard times. Quit your fighting. Those of you that are fighting are worse than a bunch of children, act like adults and move on with it.

Really, Kake - Can we move on?

Anonymous, the only thing I have to say to you is, “Amazing”! On that note, I am finished with this as far as commenting. I think the point was made WAY back, that the layoffs at Boeing was not the result of the strike, or the union, but due to the fact that the military contracts are now complete, or soon will be, and this has gotten so far off track, it is not even amusing any longer. Anonymous, one more thing, seriously consider therapy. From what you have been writing, you are in bad need. BYE!!

totally unreal i didnt need that i thought i cleared myself up and im not defending him in any way he sounds like and idoit

Alan doesn't need anyone to defend him, however, I'm going to step in and say this, Anon, you are clearly misinformed. Look at two of the posts by Alan below and please read them carefully. You will see that it says that his wages which were negoitated by Union paid for his house. Meaning that he worked for and earned the right to buy his home. Posted by: Alan Location: Wichita on Nov 24, 2008 at 11:45 AM I forgot to mention, my $300,000 house to which my UNION wages has paid for, is all but paid off. I am sorry, you imbeciles shooting off your mouths, where is it you said you live, Plainview or was it Oaklawn? Posted by: Alan Location: Wichita on Nov 26, 2008 at 07:42 PM The "union" did not pay for squat, I paid for my house. I do have a life, in fact, we are flying out to spend turkey day in Miami and spend some of my unemployment checks. I will drink a couple pina coladas on the beach for you though!
Posted by: Anonymous on Dec 2, 2008 at 12:24 PM

alan you said once that the union paid for your house and than you said they didnt for sure i know they didnt pay out of their own pocket thats not what i was saying like someone mis read my comment and thought but you did say that read the comments over just trying to keep you from contradicting your self
