The school nurse at a Salina USD 305 Elementary School was arrested Friday in connection with an on-going drug investigation.

Police say that 38-year-old Tami Jo Bradley was arrested late Friday morning. Bradley is the nurse at Oakdale Elementary School.

Salina Deputy Police Chief Carson Mansfield tells KSAL News that police started an investigation after receiving information from USD 305. He says that the case stems from irregularities in dispensing prescription drugs to students.

Bradley was booked into the Saline County Jail on charges that could include multiple counts of child endangerment, theft, and drug charges.

USD 305 Deputy Superintendent A.J. D'Angelo tells KSAL News that Bradley right now is on paid leave pending the outcome of an investigation. He says that the health and safety of the students is the primary concern.
