More than 50 homes and four apartment complexes
throughout Kansas were damaged by tornadoes last Thursday.
The Adjutant General's Department says 20 homes were destroyed
in four counties -- Anderson, Douglas, Osage and Woodson.
Another eleven homes suffered major damage, and another 20 had
The storm also destroyed three apartment complexes in Douglas
County and caused major damage to another.
A spokeswoman for the adjutant general says the department has
no dollar estimate yet for the property damage.
The department says the storms on May fourth that generated
tornadoes that killed seven Kansans also caused about 22
million dollars in property damage.
