Garden City police arrested a man in connection with a bizarre kidnapping report.
Officers were called to the train and bus depot Friday to investigate reports of a man forcing his way into cars and demanding a ride.
Police said a 23-year-old man took off in a car driven by a 67-year-old man and his young son. The driver told police the 23-year-old man shouted at him, and acted like he had a weapon under his shirt.
Officers stopped the car in the 1200 block of North Main.
The 23-year-old man was arrested on charges of kidnapping and robbery. No one was hurt.
