The Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission postponed until next month a hearing on whether to revoke the licenses of three now-closed dog and horse racing tracks.

The commission decided Monday to delay the hearing until Nov. 7, after attorneys for the track owners asked for the postponement.

At issue are licenses for The Woodlands in Kansas City, Kan.; Wichita Greyhound Park in Sedgwick County; and Camptown Greyhound Park in Frontenac.

The Woodlands closed in August after failing to agree with the Kansas Lottery on a contract allowing slot machines. Wichita Greyhound Park closed last year after voters rejected casino gambling in Sedgwick County. Camptown has been closed since 2000.
