Fire crews were busy early Sunday dealing with an arson fire at an apartment home in the 1300 block of South St. Francis in Wichita.

Investigators say the call came in just after 3 a.m. that someone had thrown something with fire on it at the building.

"We got a report that there was some type of fuel thrown on the structure," says city Battalion Chief Rob Hughes. "The fire spread quickly to the attic."

Firefighters found fire in the attic of both apartments. Two people were inside the building at the time, but got out safely. Investigators are still trying to find a suspect in the arson. The blaze caused an estimated $60,000 in damage.
