Yes, he has to serve 60 days in jail, then two years in prison and he agreed to pay the $41,000 he stole plus court courts with 120 days of beginning probation. As a former teacher that worked under this man, and now employed for the Department of Corrections, I am disgusted at this sentence. I feel he should have to serve real time with other felons. To steal from parents and kids he was supposed to be serving, is despicable. He didn't even need the money, he just wanted it. I also am deeply angered that he was able to go to Colorado Springs and obtain employment with their public school system without any background checks. He lied numerous times on his application, saying that he had retired from GB schools, and that he had never been asked to resign, etc.
since he stole money from parents (pta) and students ( student council) will he have to pay back the stolen money? nowhere in the artical does it say how much he stole, 60 days for stealing? then gets to keep the money? thats quite profitable.
