A crane installing an air system unit tips over at the Western Plains Medical Center. No one was injured, but it caused some damage to the unit and building.

The hospital's chief executive officer, John Walker, says the accident happened Thursday as workers were installing a new handler system.

The unit had just been put in and the crane had cleared the roof when it began to tip.

At some point, the asphalt and concrete under one crane's anchors gave way and tipped the crane into the building's roof. It is unclear how much the damage will cost.

Walker says that thankfully, no one was hurt.

Hospital spokeswoman Emily Schultz says it was too early to tell how long it would be before the hospital could remove the crane.
