Wichita South High school officials are rescheduling some sporting events after vandals did extensive damage to practice fields. The damaged practic field is where the Titans' junior varsity and freshman football team plays and where the varsity players practice.

Administrators said a vehicle did "donuts" in the field, leaving large divots in the turf. Some are two to three inches deep. The damage was done sometime late Tuesday or early Wednesday.
"Someone could turn an ankle step in a hole then you have a serious injury your dealing with," said Coach Tony Johnson.

The damage left the field unusable for the remainder of the season. School administrators are rescheduling games, and moving games to the opponents' fields.

School officials do not know who is responsible for the damage.
