Man Sentenced In Wichita's First Homicide Of 2008

A Wichita teenager is going to prison for his role in the shooting death of another man.

A Sedgwick County Judge today sentenced Samuel Toliver to ten years in prison in the death of Donyel Bagsby. The 32-year-old Bagsby was shot and killed at a home on North Madison Jaunary 3rd.

Prosecutors said Toliver barged into a home where Bagsby was speaking to another man and opened fire.

Police believe the shooting was drug related.
