3.0 quake rattles southern Kansas

HARPER, Kan. -- A magnitude 3.0 earthquake rattled parts of southern Kansas on Sunday evening.

The shaker was recorded at 7:10 p.m., about eight miles northwest of Harper, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. It had a depth of 8.7 kilometers.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.
