WICHITA, Kan. -- Wichita Police have taken three kids into protective custody after they were found living in filthy conditions.
Yesterday morning, school officials called police concerning three siblings aged 8, 10 and 12. They told police they were showing signs of poor hygiene.
When officers went to check their home, a trailer in the 1000 block of East MacArthur, they found the kids' parents, along with 11 dogs inside and filthy living conditions.
The children were then taken into protective custody. The case is under investigation, and so far no arrests have been made.
