A 58-year-old Braman woman has died after a collision between the vehicle in which a Haysville man was driving and a tractor.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Diana Marie Briggs died in the accident that occurred about 2:55 p.m. on Saturday on a rural Kay County road near Nardin.

The collision involved a tractor operated by 32-year-old Richard Lee Cobb of Ponca City and a vehicle driven by 75-year-old Dwayne A. Brocklesby of Haysville, Kan., in which Briggs was a passenger.

Troopers say both vehicles failed to yield at an uncontrolled intersection, and Brocklesby's vehicle struck the tractor on the passenger side before rolling one-half time. The tractor rolled one-quarter time and landed atop the other vehicle.

Briggs died at the scene. Brocklesby was taken to a hospital in Wichita in fair condition. Cobb was treated for an arm injury and released from a Blackwell hospital.
