Trully, trully, trully! where is mercy, compassion and forgiveness? Whatever it is that this young man did or failed to do, (jeez!) he died a very painful way; only him knows what it felt like. We don't know yet if he was burned b4 or after he died. My guess is he was tortured, killed, then burned. This is so, so, BAD! The good thing is, "He will suffer no more. hopefully he is resting with the Lord". I think every city, state and or Nation goes through a period of un-rest, mass-violence and enormous human suffering. So, let us all be patient, keeping each other in prayers, caring for one another because death, comes like a thief at night. God bless everyone reading this and esp. those affected directly. May the spirit of Peace and Harmony fill the herts of the lost, and troubled in Wichita.

NO he was not a gang member so you can take your judgemental comments elsewhere. For you to question what the loss is shows you have no heart. Regardless of the cause, NO ONE deserves the kind of death that he did. That was downright cruel, sick, and heartless. I wonder if you did it.

Judging by the grammer of "neice neenee" the brutha was most likely a gang banger. Another one bites the dust? The loss is..?

I agree Deb. It's like people close to this person can look at the vehicle plate, the fact he was missing, and put two and two together, but the body hasn't yet been identified. Whatever happened and whatever he may or may not have been involved in, he did not deserve this at all. I pray for the family, and that justice is soon served.

Was this car found behind a business?

The propensity for something bad happening to you goes up if you're out doing bad things...I'm not saying this guys was doing something bad I'm just saying If you're not out doing bad it tends to not find you. Bad things do happen to good people but if you look I think it becomes clear.

Does Wichita have a mob presence? This sounds like mob work. Maybe involved drugs or something. I have never heard of something like this here.

It disturbs me that you report a death in a burned vehicle but the police are unable to identify the body yet you make sure that we viewers can read the vanity plate. What a cruel way to find out that someone you know and love may have died a horrible death. Even if the car belongs to someone other than the victim people will assume that the owner is the victim and the pain they will suffer until they know more is awful. You should be ashamed. My sympathies to the family.

I agree w/ mom. unless you live in a bubble by yourself your not going to get away from it. I ve lived here for 8 years and it is a wonderful place to live. Ive came from a very much larger city... violnce happend. a smaller city.... violence happend.

I don't blame Leaha or CRAZY. This place is getting worse. I am on my way out of this dump of a city. Lately its making the ghettos of NY & CA look somewhat nice!

This is a sad tragic story and to think he was so young- no one deserves that. Have they yet released the name of this young man or have they just released the personalized license plates to the vehicle?
