In her Wednesday night speech, Palin said, "I guess a small town mayor is like a community organizer, except you have actual responsibilities." Western Kansas community organizers and mayors talked about Palin's statement.

SHELLY GOV. PALIN DOESNT SAY HER CHOICE IS THE ONLY CHOICE. IF YOU WATCH HER INTERVIEWS AND SEE HER TALK THAT IS HER BELIEFE. JOHN MCCAIN WANTS IT TO BE THE PEOPLES CHOICE ON WHO INTERPRITES THE LAW NOT THE GOVERNMENT. THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS THAT PEOPLE DONT SEE, THERE TO BUSY VOTING FOR JUST THEIR PARTY. MICHELLE OBAMA IS JUST NOW PROUD OF HER COUNTRY. DOESNT THAT SCARE YOU. I THINK I WOULD WANT SOMEONE IN THEIR THAT HAS BEEN AROUND THE BLOCK(OLD) THIS IS A VERY SCARY TIME IN THE WORLD. IN HIS INTERVIEW ON THE VIEW HE SAID HE PUT ALL PARTYS IN THE WHITE HOUSE AND GET THIS USA ON THE WRITE TRACK TO BECOME WHAT WE CAN BE. A COUNTRY OF THE PEOPLE, AND FOR THE PEOPLE.

I'm glad y'all like our Sarah. We like her a whole lot up here in Alaska. She takes the bull by the horns and gets things done. She doesn't waste a lot of time. She sizes things up and makes decisions then gets on with the next task. Most politicians have to form their commities, study issues for 5 years, twiddle their thumbs for another 5 years and then decided to think on it a bit more! Not our Sarah. She gets things done fast!

This woman scares the heck out of me. She is against a woman's choice no ifs, ands or buts. Good for her to keep her down's baby, but don't say that her choice is the only choice. She also made sure that every single resident in alaska gets a $2000 a year check/kickback from big oil. and that there is a $1200 bonus each year too for every man, woman and child. She was a mayor for a very small town and govenor for less than 2 years and she is more qualified than obama? are you kidding me? I hope that hillary supporters do not fall for this by voting for mccain and palin. Go Obama!!!!!!!!!!!

Amy, I hope you or no one in your family gets really ill and has to spend alot of time in the hospital. Depending on how long you stay it could be 50,000 to 400,00 dollars you then owe. Perhaps you can afford that, most cannot. This health care system works great, as long as its other people who have the problem. Cliff how are any of them qualified? My problem with politicans is that most of them are very rich, and most of us are average or poor. How can someone with a million bucks in the bank relate. Do they care about gas prices, food prices, housing, health care. It does not effect them, they are rich! The guy has 7 houses! You think he gives a rip or could relate to normal people. Its time we americans use our rights as citizens and oust all these politicians. Our government these days reminds me of England. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer or stay the same. the rich have the power. That is exactly why we ran from there and came to form the United States. Watch John Adams!!

cindy, if she is underqualified for vice president, how is Obama qualified for president?

She made the biggest impression on me of all the canidates. She's done a lot of good in Alaska and hopefully she and McCain can turn the mess we're in around.

If this is the most qualified person the GOP has then who will you run in 2012? a homeless person. Which maybe all of the middle class by then.

oh come on, why not give a pole with some better choices. I think she did a great job of selling the fact she and McCain are the wrong choice for moving our country forward.

Hey, ladies! Look! A uterus! Vote McCain! I'm scared how many will fall for it.

lol she did well i guess for someone who was handed her speech only a few days before she spoke. It's hard to have passion in something when it is not even your own words.McCain will feed you anything you want to hear. Bush was elected twice so I have lost all hope in getting any change. McCain will do everything that Bush has done.

Hey Tom - news flash...health care is not the Government's responsibility. If you want to be attached to a nipple, go find one. For those of us who prefer the free market - we'll take care of ourselves, thanks. Health care is so ridiculously expensive because of people who vote on the Democratic ticket - people who want to expand the government to ridiculous levels and over regulate every move the health care industry can make. It's time to cut ties and let the free market take care of itself. The free market already started proving itself with $4 prescriptions at Wal Mart. You would see a lot more of that if the government would step back.

I thought Palin did an excellent job. However, looking at the big picture should, heaven forbid, the VP comes to office, I'd have to take Biden over her!

I don't recall hearing the Dems stat what they would do to turn things around. But yet you expect the Repubs too?
