Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius is
among Democrats shooting back at GOP vice presidential candidate
Sarah Palin.

Sebelius said today that Palin "mastered the words written by
the Bush speechwriters" to deliver "partisan attacks and no real
solutions." The comments were similar to those by Democratic
vice-presidential hopeful Joe Biden on television networks this
morning.

The Democratic rapid response team in Denver scrambled to get
Sebelius on a media conference call to respond to Palin. The Alaska
governor's speech ignited Republican excitement and was favorably
received by commentators.

Biden is scheduled to debate Palin in St. Louis on October 2nd,
and has already started playing the expectations game. He said on
CNN, "Boy, she's going to be a tough debater."
