The Kansas Lottery Gaming Facility Review
Board is told that two applicants for a proposed state-owned casino
for Dodge City would generate about the same amount of revenue.

The board's consultants Tuesday said their average annual
revenue projection for the applicants, Boot Hill Casino and Dodge
City Casino, each would be around $55 million. The consultants said
the board needs to consider other factors such as what each is
offering in the way of a casino, amenities and where they would be
located.

The board is meeting Tuesday and Wednesday to hear proposals
from the two Ford County applicants and the four applicants for
Wyandotte County. It will decide Sept. 18 and 19 who gets the
management contract for the casino in each county.
