A Kansas farm wife is scheduled to speak
tomorrow night at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul,
Minnesota. The speech by Carolyn Dunn of St. John will outline the
rural woman's perspective.

The 300-word, 3-minute speech will be delivered at around 7:23
p.m.

Dunn said the party gave her broad parameters for her talk,
which will deal with "agricultural, rural issues."

After graduating from Kansas State University, Dunn went to
Washington, D.C., where she worked for the U.S. Department of
Agriculture, now-Senators Pat Roberts and Sam Brownback. She helped craft a federal farm bill while working for Roberts.
