Horse Causes Injury Accident In Reno County

A Kingman woman was critically hurt in an accident caused by a horse this morning.
The accident happened on K-17, six miles south of Hutchinson shortly after 7:30.
The Kansas Highway Patrol a horse ran out in front of a car driven by 25-year-old Jessica Egner. Egner's car hit the horse. The car then drove into a ditch where it struck a tree and a telephone pole.
Emergency medical workers took Egner to Via-Christi St. Francis where she is listed in critical condition.
The horse was killed in the accident.
