Striking Hawker Beechcraft Machinist arrived at the Kansas Coliseum to vote. Some had already decided which way they were going to vote while others needed more time to study.

Machinists approached the company's latest offer with caution after the first offer was defeated by a 90% margin. Union members said they wanted to know how this one is different before they voted.

Also, this contract is one they'll be working under for the next three years. They want to approach it with serious thought, considering how it will affect them and their families.

It didn't take long for many to decide. As soon as the ballot boxes were opened, machinists began casting their votes.
