Police are looking for two people in a late-night shooting that killed a man and pregnant woman at a home in Kansas City.
Police spokesman Darin Snapp said officers called to the northeast side home at 10 p.m. Wednesday found the man on the front porch and the woman inside, both with fatal gunshot wounds.
Snapp said witnesses told investigators that two men, one with an assault-style rifle, walked up to the house, opened fire, then walked away. Friends of the victims told police the woman was pregnant and that the man was the brother of the child's father.
Just over an hour after the double homicide, another fatal shooting was reported at a Kansas city home. Police had no information on the victim or possible suspects in the second shooting.
