Wichita Police Patrol South officers made nine arrests as part of a "john" sting Wednesday afternoon.
The "sting" took place between noon and 6:00 p.m. The area of the operation included South Broadway and Topeka Streets between Kellogg and 45th Street South.
Four people were arrested for solicitation, one for sodomy, and four others were arrested for outstanding warrants or other charges.
Photos of those arrested for prostitution and solicitation are posted on the Police Department's anti-prostitution website for 30 days.
