A Leavenworth County judge who has been accused of sexual harassment says the allegations aren't corroborated by "any credible evidence."

District Judge Frederick Steward filed a response Tuesday to a notice from the state Commission on Judicial Qualifications.

The notice, filed in June, alleged Stewart engaged in inappropriate conduct toward an administrative assistant from 1999 to 2007. The notice said the conduct included inappropriate touching, sexual advances and requests for sexual favors.

In his response, Stewart said the former administrative assistant has no witnesses to corroborate her allegations.

A commission panel plans to have a public hearing on the matter.
