Wrong Way Accident Kills 2 in Dickinson County

The accident happened Friday, just after 5 p.m. on I-70.
A car driven by 77-year-old Robert Sexton of Fremont California, crossed the center line in an attempt to pass a slower vehicle.
Sexton's car hit an oncoming van head-on. The van was reportedly going the wrong way in the eastbound lanes.
Sexton and the driver of the van, 43-year-old Leonard Edwards Jr. of Salina were both killed in the accident.
A woman and three young children in the van were taken to an area hospital with possible injuries.
