Physicians at Wichita Clinic Bethel in Newton say the salmonella appears to be over and they are not seeing much illness. It’s a good time to get your yearly physical, sports physical or kindergarten physical. Allergies are in full swing with the wheat harvest being active. Physicians recommend over the counter allergy medicine such as Claritin or Zyrtec. If these don’t work to control symptoms, see your doctor for more options.
Wichita Clinic Murdock Immediate Care physicians are seeing a number of cases of rashes, poison ivy, minor injuries, small laceration, tick and insect bites and allergies as patients are more active outside. We continue to see occasional strep throat, upper respiratory infections, pink eye and exacerbation of asthma.
Wichita Clinic Eberly Farm physicians have seen a lot of patients with pneumonia this week. They have also seen patients with cough, sinus infections and a gastro bug is starting to surface as well.
Wichita Clinic Augusta physicians are seeing patients with allergies, insect bites, strep throat and staph skin infections.
