MULVANE, Kan. -- Two Mulvane high school students have been arrested for allegedly making threats.
According to Mulvane Police, on Monday someone noticed that two high school students were sending tweets out about shooting up the school. That person notified the principal who then called police.
Officers arrived and arrested the students, a boy and a girl, before school started.
Police say both admitted to making the threats, but they told officers that they were just joking around.
Charges have not been filed.
