$2 Million Powerball ticket sold in NE Kansas

TOPEKA, Kan Some lucky Kansas Lottery player has a Powerball ticket worth $2 million. The winning ticket was sold in northeast Kansas for the Saturday, May 17, drawing.

Saturday’s winning Powerball numbers are 23-32-39-47-49 Powerball 22. The winning ticket matched the first five numbers, plus the player purchased the Power Play option, doubling the $1 million prize to $2 million.

The northeast region of the state in which the ticket was sold includes these 21 counties: Marshall, Nemaha, Brown, Doniphan, Riley, Pottawatomie, Jackson, Atchison, Geary, Wabaunsee, Shawnee, Jefferson, Leavenworth, Wyandotte, Johnson, Osage, Douglas, Franklin, Miami, Morris, and Lyon (northern half).

No ticket matched all numbers in Saturday’s Powerball drawing, so the jackpot rolls to an estimated $114 million ($67.9 cash option) for Wednesday’s drawing.

Big winners over the weekend also included a $2,500 Mega Millions winning ticket sold in northeast Kansas; and a $3,000 Hot Lotto winner and $2,000 Super Kansas Cash winner, both sold in south central Kansas.
