Two people were hurt, one seriously, in a multiple vehicle crash this morning in Reno County.

The crash happened around 7 a.m. Thursday on East 30th just west of Kent Road. Investigators say a Buhler school bus was stopped to load passengers, and there was a line of vehicles stopped behind.

The Reno County Sheriff's Office says a westbound Ford Escape failed to stop and hit a Mini Cooper, which then hit a Ford Edge. Two drivers were transported to hospitals: one person was taken to a Hutchinson hospital, but the other victim suffered more serious injuries and was flown to a Wichita hospital with head injuries.

Deputies spoke with other drivers at the scene, but believe other people may have witnessed the crash. Anyone who saw the accident occur is asked to call the sheriff's office at (620) 694-2735.
