Wichita Police are investigating a pair of drive-by shootings that happened on the same street Thursday.

In the most recent case, several shots were fired in the 2000 block of North Chautauqua shortly before midnight Thursday. Bullets struck two homes and a parked car. A 28-year-old woman and a 46-year-old woman were in one of the homes but weren't hurt.

Officers found evidence that rounds were fired from two different guns. They're looking for a brown GMC Suburban in connection to the shooting.

Around 4:30 that morning, there was another drive-by in the 1200 block of North Chautauqua. Ten people were inside that home when shots were fired, but no one was injured.

In that case, five rounds hit the house and another three hit a parked SUV. Police are looking for a maroon Chevrolet Tahoe.
