A Western Kansas man, whose girlfriend spent a month stuck to a toilet, has entered a plea in the case.
Kory McFarren pleaded no contest to mistreatment of a dependent adult in Ness County Court this morning. He also pleaded no contest to an unrelated charge of lewd and lacivious behavior.
McFarren called Ness County authorities in February to report his girlfriend was sick. When officers arrived they found the woman physically stuck to the toilet. She had sat on on the toilet seat for a month. The woman suffered from muscle atrophy and her skin was physically stuck to the toilet seat.
The woman spent months locked in the bathroom. McFarren, her boyfriend for 16 years, told KAKE News he tried to convince her everyday to leave the bathroom. "She has a fear of coming out," McFarren said. "Most of her fear from coming out is from her
relatives. She doesn't want to see them."
McFarren will be sentenced July 29th.
