Damage From Severe Storms Reported
Some reports coming in from people tracking the storms.

6:05 p.m. 1 mile north of Viola: Tree limbs down.

5:45 p.m. Goddard: Reports of a wind gust at 82 mph.

5:22 p.m. Harper: Shed roofs blown off

5:22 p.m. Rooks County: Power lines down all over the county.

4:35 p.m. Wakeeney: Storm sirens frightened two circus elephants. The elephants are running loose in the area. Authorities are trying to catch them.

4:32 p.m. Sylvia, Reno County: Roof damage to a gas station, damage to a hay shed. Reports of tree damage and downed power lines across the county

4:23 p.m. 14 Miles north of St. John...power poles and tree limbs down.

4:12 p.m. Beaver, KS in Pratt County. Reports of downed tree limbs and power lines.

4:05 p.m. Pratt Airport reports the roof was ripped off one building on the property. Some overhead doors were blown in, and there are downed branches.

3:55 p.m. Flash flooding reported in Great Bend, with many roads closed.

3:55 p.m. Sylvia. Thunderstorm damage with winds estimated at 65 miles per hour. 4 to 6 inch tree limbs down.

3:30 p.m. Storm spotters reported downed power lines six miles south of Cunningham. Spotters estimate winds at 100 miles per hour.
